Christian County High School outfielder Pickle Winkler will leave high school as an All-State selection. She was named to the Class 3A All-State Second Team by the Kentucky High School Softball Coaches Association.
Winkler, who has multiple all-district, all-region, and all-state selections on her resume, hit .518 in 2022 with six home runs and 31 runs knocked in. She had 29 extra-base hits and scored 66 runs. She stole 47 bases and leaves Christian County as the school’s all-time leader.
Winkler has signed to continue her softball career at the University of Louisville.
While the KHSAA does not classify schools for competitive play, the state softball coaches association chooses to break down its postseason awards into three classes.
