Former Caldwell County standout Tate VanHooser went yard again in the Myrtle Beach League in South Carolina on Saturday.
VanHooser homered in the fifth inning in the middle of back-to-back-to-back long balls by his Carolina Loggerheads in a 10-0 win over the Coastal Breeze.
VanHooser finished the day 1-for-3 with two runs batted in.
The Loggerheads are scheduled to play twice on Monday. The MBL season runs through the month of June.
