Christian County to Open Final Football Season Against Caldwell County

The schedule for the final season of Christian County football is now set in place. The 2022 season will be the last before Christian County and Hopkinsville merge to form Hopkinsville-Christian County Academy.

The Colonels will open the final season at home on Friday, August 19 when they host the Caldwell County Tigers.

After a road trip to Logan County on August 26, Christian County will return to the Stadium of Champions on September 2 for the final battle of the southern Colonels against the northern Colonels from Henderson County.

Christian County will hit the road September 9 to take on Madisonville-North Hopkins.

The big showdown with Hopkinsville, which figures to be a night of celebration and remembering, is set for Saturday, September 17.

The Colonels will host Murray on September 23 and then Greenwood on Thursday night September 29 before going into their bye week the first Friday night of October.

Christian County comes out of the bye with a trip to South Warren on October 14.

The Colonels will then close out their final regular season with back-to-back home games. Christian County will host the Bowling Green Purples on October 21, and then finish the regular season by hosting McCracken County on October 28.

The Colonels will play preseason scrimmages on August 5 and August 12. On August 5, Christian County will hos Mayfield. On August 12, the Colonels will play at Austin Peay.
