Fort Campbell High School athlete Gianna Verdone has been named to the All-State Track and Field team in three different events.
Verdone reached the medal podium at the Class 1A State Track Meet four times.
She won the 100-meter hurdles, becoming the first Lady Falcon to win an individual state title since Dascha Hix in the pole vault seven years ago. Verdone also finished tied for second place in the high jump
He earned individual first-team all-state honors in both events.
Verdone also teamed with Savannah Ziegler, Natalie Winters, and Jerni Hicks to finish third in the 400-meter dash. The relay team earned second-team all-state honors.
