Emma Talley is back in action on the LPGA Tour this week after getting the last two weeks off.

Talley begins play Wednesday at the Dow Great Lakes Bay Invitational in Midland, Mich.

The tournament is a 72-hole, stroke-play team event with teams comprised of two players.

The first and third rounds will be played in foursomes (alternate shot) and the second and final rounds will be played in a fourball (best-ball) format.

Talley will team with Jodi Ewart Shadoff. That duo finished in a tie for 31st in last year’s tournament.

The Jutanugarn sisters, Ariya and Moriya, are the defending champions.

In Wednesday’s first round, Talley and Ewart Shadoff will begin their round on the No. 10 tee box at 1:07 p.m. Eastern time.

In Thursday’s second round at Midland Country Club, Talley and Ewart Shadoff have a 7:39 a.m. Eastern tee time. They will start on No. 1 on Thursday.

The playing partners for the Talley-Ewart Shadoff team both days will be Ruoning Yin and Weiwei Zhang.

Seventy-two teams will begin play Wednesday. After 36 holes, the field will be cut to the low 35 teams and ties.

The purse for this week’s event is $2.5 million.

Meanwhile, Talley is currently at No. 69 in the Race to the CME Globe season-long points standings.

At the end of the season, the Top 60 on that standings list will qualify for the CME Group Tour Championship.

That is the final event of the LPGA Tour season and features a $7 million purse. The Tour Championship is set for Nov. 17-20 in Naples, Fla.
