Peca Throws Seven Shutout Innings in Miners’ Win

Former Trigg County Wildcat Joe Peca pitched seven shutout innings to lift the Madisonville Miners to a 6-2 win over the Louisville Jockeys in Ohio Valley League action Monday.

The lefty struck out six, walked two, and allowed just three hits in turning in his best performance of the season.

Peca improved to 2-3 on the mound and has struck out 38 batters in 28 innings pitched, ranking fourth in the OVL.
