Joey Falco had a strong start to the 2022 golf season with a top 20 finish at the Daviess County Invitational in Owensboro.
Falco shot a 3-over-par 39 on the front nine at Ben Hawes State Park. He came in with a 41 and finished with a round of 80 which was good for 19th place. Trigg County’s Hunter Reynolds shot a 2-under-par 69 and won a playoff against Marshall County’s David Morris.
Andrew Riggs carded an 87 for the Tigers. Thomas Grise was Hoptown’s third golfer with a 99 followed by Ryan Martin (105) and Isaiah Wood (132).
As a team, Hoptown finished in 11th place with 371 points.
Hopkinsville returns to action Monday at the Henderson County Invitational.
