After capturing the KHSAA state heavyweight wrestling title as a senior, recent Christian County graduate AJ Harvey might be expected to make the jump to the next level on the mat. But instead, Harvey, a standout linebacker for the Colonels, will follow a path to the gridiron at Kentucky Christian University in Grayson, KY.
The Knights compete at the NAIA level as a member of the Appalachian Athletic Conference and finished 3-7 in 2021.
Harvey talked about his decision on a recent visit to YSE to pick up his 1st-place “Fan Faves” award.
