Cate Blane opened the 2022 high school golf season with a seventh-place tie at the Marshall County Invitational Tuesday.
Blane shot a 7-over 79 to finish in the seventh place tie with UHA’s Conlee Lindsey. Marshall County’s Trinity Beth shot a 5-under 67 to win the event by three shots over Lyon County’s Cathryn Brown.
Anna Fort shot an 87 for Hopkinsville, who did not have enough golfers to field a complete team for a team score.
