Things are getting ready to get quite busy for Heritage Christian Academy grad Kris Ruth. Ruth officially signed Wednesday evening to continue his soccer and educational career at Virginia Military Institute.
Ruth was a captain on the HCA soccer team and helped the Warriors win its first Kentucky Christian Athletic Association state soccer championship and was named Mr. Soccer, the highest honor given by the KCAA to a soccer player for both work in the classroom and mission work in the community.
Signing at this late date in the year means Ruth will not have much time to spare. He is set to report to VMI this weekend and immediately get to work.
