Austin Crick finished tied for 15th place and shot right at his season average to lead Caldwell County’s golfers Friday at the Christian County Invitational at Western Hills Golf Course.
Crick shot a 6-over par 77 for the top-15 finish. Carter Whittington and Camden McGregor both carded a 96 and Ryan Hammett shot a 98. Collin Whittington, Caldwell County’s No. 2 golfer with a season average of 80, did not play.
As a team, Caldwell County totaled 367 points to finish in 14th place.
Christian County’s Landon Hunt won the event with a 1-under 70.
All five of Marshall County’s golfers shot 78 or better and finished with a score of 290 – 15 shots better than second place McCracken County.
South Warren (312) edged Daviess County for third place.
