Defense was the order of the night both for and against the Todd County Central Rebels Friday night. The Rebels hit the road to take on Jo Byrns in a jamboree at East Robertson.
After putting up 36 points in scrimmage play against Russellville last week, the Rebels struggled to find the end zone Friday night, playing Jo Byrns to a 0-0 tie.
Playing with a running clock in the jamboree, the Todd Central offense only found itself on the field for one series during the contest.
The Rebels will officially open the 2022 season Friday night when they travel to take on the Trigg County Wildcats.
