Austin Crick shot his second-lowest round of the year to help Caldwell County to a 12th place finish Saturday at the Paducah Tilghman Invitational at Paxton Park Golf Course.
Crick shot a 2-over 74 to finish in a tie for seventh place. His previous best was a 73 in the season-opener at Franklin-Simpson.
Collin Whittington added a 78 for Caldwell County which netted him a tie for 20th place.
Ryan Hammett shot a 104, and Carter Whittington added a 105 for the Tigers, who totaled a 361.
St. Mary’s Aiden Hahn shot a 1-under-par 71 to claim first place. His Vikings’ teammate Palmer Sims shot a 72 to finish in second place ahead of three other golfers.
Marshall County took the team trophy with a score of 298 from its top four golfers. D.J. Morris and Ryan Stokes each shot a 2-over 74 to lead the Marshals.
McCracken County and Trigg County tied for second place with a team score of 308.
Paxton Park will host the Region I Golf Tournament next month.
