Kennedy Justice had two goals and an assist as Madisonville-North Hopkins held off Caldwell County 3-2 in girls’ soccer action Tuesday night in Madisonville.
It was the first loss of the season for the Lady Tigers, who are 4-1.
Kailey Barber added a goal and Lillie Carman had an assist for the Lady Maroons, who are now 2-4.
Cali Traylor had a goal for Caldwell.
Mariah Merritt had the other score for the Lady Tigers, with Rachel McClung picking up an assist on the play.
Madisonville has won the last three meetings between the two teams and seven of the last eight. The Lady Maroons hold a 29-9-1 advantage all-time.
Caldwell’s girls will travel to Graves County on Thursday.
