Maroons Continue Soccer Win Streak Against Caldwell

Madisonville-North Hopkins ran its winning streak against Caldwell County to 16 straight games in boys’ soccer action Tuesday night in Princeton.

The Maroons (4-3) ran out to a 7-0 halftime lead and went on to win 12-2, finishing off the match on the 10-goal mercy rule in the 62nd minute.

Eli Redpath had three goals and an assist for Madisonville.

Maverick Peyton, Ryerson Brower and Logan Terry each tallied two goals.
Ivan Juarez had a goal and four assists while Kyle Yates and Jackson Elkins each scored once.

Dru Lile recorded three assists. Sam Dodds had two helpers while J.J. Brown and Benjamin Schneider each had one assist.

Madisonville leads Caldwell 24-1 in the all-time series.

The Tigers, now 1-2-1, got goals from Grayden Miller and Haiden Ball in the second half.

Caldwell faces another stiff challenge on Thursday when it visits defending 2nd Region champion Henderson County. The Colonels beat Caldwell in the regional final last season.
