The Lyon County girls’ soccer team claimed its third win in four matches on Tuesday, evening its record at 5-5 with an 8-1 victory over visiting Webster County.
Sophomore Alice Smith banged in four goals to take her season total to 23, and Anna White and Kyndal Hubbard each found the back of the net twice.
Anna White added her team-high sixth assist of the season, and Gracelynn Taylor and Avery White each set up a goal.
Maddie Russell made seven saves between the posts to earn the win.
Miryan Nuenez scored the Lady Trojans’ lone goal, and goalkeeper Davanne McLean made 26 saves. Webster County dropped its fourth straight match to slip to 1-5.
The two teams will meet again in Dixon next Tuesday.
