Struggling to find the net on one end of the field and struggling to find a way to stop your opponent’s attack on the other makes for a tough combination. That was the problem faced by the Christian County Lady Colonels Tuesday night as they hosted Calloway County at the Stadium of Champions.
Calloway County afforded the Lady Colonels few scoring opportunities and the Lady Lakers’ offense was in high gear as they picked up the 10-0 win.
Calloway County’s Harlee Davis scored five goals in leading the Lady Laker attack. Davis now has 14 goals on the season.
Addi Schumacher added two goals for Calloway County.
Calloway goalie Grace Barnes only had to make three saves in the contest.
The loss drops the Lady Colonels to 1-7-1 on the year. They are back in action Monday night in an 8th District contest against the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers.
