The Hopkinsville boys’ soccer team bounced back from a shutout loss to Henderson County to earn a narrow 2-1 victory over Ohio County on Monday.

The Tigers run their record to 5-4 with a fourth win in five tries and hand the Eagles a second straight defeat to leave them at 4-4.

Nick Klar banged in his sixth goal of the season off an assist from Miguel Magana.  Bryan Fernandez added the second, and the Tiger defense did the rest.

Hoptown is off for a few days until returning for matches against West Jessamine and Calloway County on Saturday.
