One week ago, the Crittenden County Lady Rockets had to go to overtime to pick up a 3-2 win at Lyon County. Thursday night, on their home pitch, there would be no need for extra time.
Crittenden County controlled the match from beginning to end as the Lady Rockets blanked the Lady Lyons 5-0 to go to 2-2 in 5th District play.
Elizabeth Campbell had a big night for Crittenden County, scoring four goals. Ella Geary added the other goal for the Lady Rockets. Raven Hayes had three assists, while Taylor Guess added two more.
Maddie Russell finished the night with 18 saves for the Lady Lyons.
Lyon County now falls to 6-7 overall and 0-3 in district play.
The Lady Lyons are back in action Friday night when they host Hopkins Central at Lee S. Jones Park.
