Another big effort from Fatu Crain led the Trigg County girls’ cross country team over the weekend. Three Lady Wildcat runners were among those to take part in the Mustang Stampede.
Crain finished her run with a time of 22:12.55. That time placed her 21st in the girls’ race.
Morgan Kobylinski, of Ohio County, took first place with a time of 19:28.65. Joy Alexander, of Madisonville-North Hopkins, was in second place about thirty seconds back.
The Lady Wildcats did not have enough runners for the team competition.
Alliyah Thomas, of Trigg County, finished the race in 27th place.
Alex Smith came in 83rd.
