With regional golf action beginning Monday, some of the state’s best boys’ high school golfers took to the course over the weekend for the final big event of the regular season. The 2022 Kentucky Golf Coaches’ Association All-State Championship was played Saturday and Sunday.

Trigg County’s Hunter Reynolds was among those playing in the two-day championship event. Reynolds would finish his tournament with a score of 156. That score would put him in a tie for 55th place.

Reynolds shot a 77 in his opening round Saturday and came back and finished with a 79 on Sunday.

Taylor County dominated the top of the standings list, with the Cardinals taking 1st, 2nd, and 4th place.

Bruno Galling was first with a 133. Luke Coyle was two shots further back in second. Seth Smith tied for third place and then ended up in 4th place after a playoff.
