The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons had two runners in the top 15 and finished eighth as a team at the Marshall County Invitational Saturday and Draffenville.
Eighth-grader Meg Lubas brought home fifth place in a time of 21:10. Scarlett Boersma came in 12th place in a time of 21:55 over the 3.1-mile course.
Ava Roberts was Fort Campbell’s third runner in 77th place followed by Sophia McDonald in 79th place, Rihanna Quinones in 94th place, Sunny Joo in 100th place, and Cyri Reed in 129th place.
In the team standings, the Lady Falcons finished in eighth place out of 16 teams with 223 points. Lauren Eftink of Cape Girardeau (Mo.) Notre Dame won the race with a time of 19:37. Madisonville won the team title with 73 points.
