Former Caldwell County Tiger player Blake Vivrette is just five games into his college kicking career with the Kentucky Wesleyan College football program.

However, he already owns the third- and fifth-longest field goals in school history.

Vivrette kicked a 45-yard field goal on Saturday as the Panthers erased a 21-10 first-half deficit to defeat Hillsdale 31-27.

He knocked home a 48-yard field goal the previous week in a 24-17 loss at William Jewell (Mo.).

So far this season, Vivrette is 3-for-4 on field goals and 7-for-7 on PATs.

He is also handling punts and kickoffs, averaging 37.6 yards a punt with a long of 63 yards.

The Panthers (2-3) have won two of their last three games. KWC will look to continue the momentum next Saturday when it heads to Quincy (Ill.) to take on the Hawks,

Vivrette was twice named All-WKC first team kicker while at Caldwell County. He also played soccer and basketball with the Tigers and is a former member of the CCHS track team.
