Making her second trip to the KHSAA State Golf Championship after missing out last season with a playoff loss at the region tournament, University Heights Academy senior Rheagan Lindsey ended her high school career with an 86 on Saturday at Bowling Green Country Club.

Lindsey started her weekend with an 85 on Friday, and despite a double bogey on the first hole on Saturday, she parred the next four holes to build some momentum.

However, a bogey and two double bogeys on six through eight left her with an 8-over 44 at the turn.

Lindsey started the back with two double bogeys and a pair of bogeys over the first five holes, but a strong stretch of two pars and a birdie on 18 gave her a 42 over the last nine holes.

She finished in a tie for 40th with a two-day total of 171, a fifteen-spot improvement on her showing as a sophomore.
