With volleyball in the final week of the regular season, the Trigg County Lady Wildcats made the trip across the lakes Tuesday night to take on the Murray Lady Tigers. Murray was able to fend off the Lady Wildcats and take the straight-set win.
Murray won the opening set 25-14 to go up one set to none.
Trigg battled back in the second set, but it would still ultimately belong to the Lady Tigers 25-18, as they took a 2-0 lead in the match.
Murray would then go on to close out the match with a 25-12 win to complete the sweep.
The loss drops Trigg County to 1-30 on the year. The Lady Wildcats are scheduled to wrap up the regular season Thursday on the road at Fulton City.
