The Fort Campbell boys wrapped up the cross country season on Saturday at the KHSAA 1A State Championship, led by a 25th-place finish by William Lubas.
Lubas, the Region 1 runner-up, ran a 17:17 on Saturday at the Bourbon County Cross Country Park. St. Henry’s Dixon Ryan won the title with a time of 16:03.
Seth Puraty was the next Falcon to cross the line in 19:06 and finish 94th. After that, three Falcons finished within 48 seconds of each other, starting with John Arnold in 143rd place with a 20:00. Jeffrey Perry was two seconds back in 147th, and Jayden Perry posted a 20:48 to finish 200th.
Rounding out the Falcon effort, Gunner Principe ran a 21:21, and Jackson Evans finished in 22:24.
