TayShaun Linton has etched his name in the Trigg County football record book and it likely won’t be the last time.
The Wildcat junior recorded 11.5 sacks during the 2022 season, setting a new school record for a single season. The former record was 11 sacks by Kewanis Kennedy in 2004.
For his career, Linton has 14.5 sacks. The career record at Trigg County is 17 sacks set by Jason Wilson from 1986-89.
As a team, Trigg County doubled its sack total totaling 22.5 in 2022 compared to 11 sacks in 2021.
