Caldwell County grad Emma Talley finished her 2022 LPGA Tour schedule over the weekend but failed to make the cut in the Pelican Women’s Championship in Belleair, Florida.

Talley carded rounds of 76 and 71 on Friday and Saturday at Pelican Golf Club.

Talley does not qualify as one of the Top 60 on tour to play in the CME Group Tour Championship this week.

However, Talley is well within the Top 100 in the points standings, which means she keeps her exempt status on the LPGA Tour for the upcoming 2023 season. She finishes the year at No. 82 on the Race to the CME Globe points list.

Talley, a three-time Kentucky state high school champion and an NCAA medalist at the University of Alabama, has earned $1,167,101 since joining the LPGA Tour in 2018.

She picked up $219,367 in 2022.

Talley does not have a win in her LPGA Tour career but does own nine Top 10 finishes, including two this season.
