
Carlos Robles became the sixth member of the Heritage Christian Academy 1,000-point club Saturday during the KCAA Tip-Off Classic.
The senior guard scored 21 points in the Warriors’ 67-35 win over Oak Ridge Christian Academy. He passed Matthew Malabanan in the first week of the season. Malabanan scored 970 points from 2013-17.
Darrin Hunt (2001-06) is fifth on the scoring list with 1,075 points.
Robles, who was a KCAA All-State selection last year, could move into the top three by February. Alex Walker (2009-13) scored 1,478 points to top HCA’s all-time scoring list. Gavin Fowler (2014-19) is second with 1,408 points.
