After a turnover-plagued opening night loss to Warren Central, the Todd County Central boys’ basketball team evened its record in emphatic fashion with a 65-27 victory over visiting Montgomery Central on Tuesday.

The Rebels trailed 2-0, but a 10-0 run put them in control and they never looked back.  Jamison Glass had nine first-quarter points and Trayvon Foster added five to give Todd Central a 17-9 lead.

A 19-1 run to start the second quarter, including seven more points for Glass, stretched the margin to 26 points, and the Rebels led 43-13 at the break after a buzzer-beating three-pointer by Foster.

Glass and Foster combined for 15 of Todd Central’s 17 points in the third and they led 60-22 going to the fourth quarter.  With a running clock over the final eight minutes, the teams combined for only ten points the rest of the way.

Glass led all scorers with 24, joined in double figures by Foster with 17.
