Kentucky football is Nashville bound for a matchup with the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Music City Bowl. The game will be held at Nissan Stadium in Nashville on New Years Eve at 11 AM CT.
The Wildcats faced the Hawkeyes in last year’s VRBO Citrus Bowl and won, 20-17, thanks to a touchdown scoring drive late in the fourth quarter.
Star quarterback Will Levis and running back Chris Rodriguez have yet to announce if they’ll play in this year’s bowl game.
The announcement came Sunday afternoon via UK Athletics and with it came a scheduling conflict for Big Blue fans.
Kentucky’s bowl game will be played on the same day and time as Kentucky basketball’s game vs. the Louisville Cardinals, which features the first head-to-head matchup between head coach John Calipari and former assistant Kenny Payne.
Music City Bowl tickets are available at this link.

Don’t like the idea we’re playing Iowa again in a bowl game. Just my humble opinion just wish it was another opponent that we haven’t played
Yep 79, I don’t like it either. Without Levis, CRod, and an OC it could be a long game. It will be a revenge game for Iowa and an Aw Shucks game for us.
