Caldwell County junior Cole Sherill is looking for another trip to the State Wrestling Finals after placing eighth at the state tournament last season.
Sherill recently finished up his football season at Caldwell. He was sixth on the Tiger defense with 35 tackles and also forced a fumble.
Sherill went 5-0 at 215 pounds last weekend in Caldwell County’s first wrestling tournament of the 2022-23 season at Ohio County.
Sherill and the Tigers will see tourney action at Benton, Ill., this Saturday.
The annual Armstrong Tiger Classic is coming up at the CAB gym on Saturday, Dec. 17.
