Colonel Swimmers Finish Ninth in Bowling Green Pool

The Christian County Colonel swim team finished in ninth place Saturday at the Best of the West Meet hosted by Bowling Green High School.

The Colonels scored 45 points to finish five points ahead of tenth place Barren County.

COLONEL RESULTS

Mitchell Havens – 7^th in the 100-yard backstroke (1:08.75); 19^th in the 50-yard free (28.44)

Fernando Montes – 16^th in the 100-yard free (1:11.30); 24^th in the 50-yard free (30.35)

Kolton Parker – 18^th in the 100-yard back (1:48.84); 40^th in the 50-yard free (42.97)

Peyton Epley – 23^rd in the 100-yard free (1:21.53); 33^rd in the 50-yard free (34.05)

The 400-yard free relay team of Mitchell Havens, Kolton Parker, Peyton Epley, and Fernando Montes finished ninth in 5:20.68.

Amelia Hewitt was the lone Lady Colonel to hit the pool.  She finished 18^th in the 100-yard free (1:19.27) and 37^th in the 50-yard free (36.45).
