The Madisonville-North Hopkins girls blitzed Caldwell County early on the way to a 62-34 7th District victory Friday night in Princeton.
The Lady Maroons outscored the Lady Tigers 22-2 in the first quarter and went on to take a 36-12 advantage to halftime.
Madisonville (14-6 overall, 3-1) was on cruise control in the second half, taking a 57-22 advantage to the fourth period.
Destiny Whitsell led all scorers with 22 points for the Lady Maroons. Riley Sword added 12 points.
Caldwell (5-14, 1-2) got 19 points from Med Thomas and nine from Tink Clark.
The Lady Maroons have now taken 11 straight games against the Lady Tigers.
Madisonville leads the all-time series 59-16.
Caldwell’s girls are scheduled to play another district game on Monday at Hopkins County Central.
The Lady Maroons will next host Lyon County in a Saturday afternoon contest.
