Todd County Central goalie Jonah Rager has followed up a successful high school career by opting to continue his soccer at Blue Mountain College in Mississippi.
Rager earned All-District and All-Region honors between the pipes for Todd County Central, allowing just 14 goals in 22 games with 13 shutouts in the 2022 season.
Rager also played club ball for Bowling Green Elite FC 04, helping them to a runner-up finish in the Kentucky State Cup, and getting a taste of semi-pro soccer in the UPSL with a couple of games between the posts for Elizabethtown’s Deportivo MJ. He’s also refined his skills in sessions with goalkeeper coach Matt Pickens of the MLS’s Nashville SC.
Blue Mountain College is a private baptist college in Blue Mountain, Mississippi that competes in the NAIA’s Southern States Athletic Conference.
