Caldwell County’s girls head into the last week of the regular season off back-to-back wins after turning back Ohio County 49-38 Saturday afternoon.
Tink Clark had 14 points, eight rebounds, five steals and two assists while A.J. Hollowell added 12 points as the Lady Tigers won for the second straight day at the CAB gym in Princeton.
Caldwell, which defeated Fort Campbell 62-21 on Friday night, built a 31-23 lead against Ohio and led by as much as 13 points on the way to the 11-point victory.
Presley McKinney had nine points for the Lady Tigers while KeDarriah Thompson had a game-high 14 rebounds to go with three points.
The visiting Lady Eagles (7-17) got 13 points from Camryn Kennedy.
Ohio had won its last three meetings with Caldwell. The all-time series is now even at 3-3.
The Lady Tigers, now 8-18, will play at home again on Tuesday when they host Lyon County for a makeup date.
