University of Kentucky men’s basketball team chaplain Max Appel is a Caldwell County grad and former Tiger athlete.
He returned to Princeton on Friday to speak at an HR Ministries Men’s Power Lunch at Majestic House Restaurant.
Appel, who is also corporate chaplain of First Southern National Bank, was earlier a guest speaker along with UK legend Jack “Goose” Givens at the 2021 West Kentucky Hoops Classic team breakfast.
Appel sat down with YSE’s Todd Griffin on Friday and talked about his work as chaplain, basketball and returning to Princeton.
