Caldwell County grad Jabrion Spikes and his Georgetown Tigers will play in the championship game of the Mid-South Conference tournament after outlasting Pikeville 90-81 in overtime in Sunday’s semifinals.
Spikes had 10 points and a rebound in 12 minutes of action.
The former Tiger was 5 of 6 on field goal attempts.
Georgetown is now 26-4.
The top-seeded Tigers will face No. 2 seed Freed-Hardeman in the Mid-South Conference championship game Monday night at 7:30.
The tourney is being played at Bowling Green High School.
Spikes, a freshman, is averaging 6.6 points a game this season at Georgetown.
