The Trigg County bass fishing team opened its season Saturday at the McCracken County Open at Kentucky Dam Marina and had three teams come back to the scales with fish.
Mitchell Green and Christian jones caught three bass weighing 6-pounds, 11-ounces to tie for 14th place out of 63 boats.
Brayden Jones and Gentry Hyde finished in 26th place with two bass weighing four pounds and an ounce.
Thomas Hawkins and Noah Hawkins caught one fish that weighed two-pounds, four-ounces to come in 37th place.
Chase Rickard and Isaiah Smith of Muhlenberg County caught five bass weighing 18-pounds, 12-ounces to take first place.
