Carlos Robles Named KCAA Mr. Basketball (w/VIDEO)

Carlos Robles capped a record-setting season on the hardwood by being named Mr. Basketball by the Kentucky Christian Athletic Association Saturday.

Robles is Heritage Christian Academy’s all-time leading scorer with 1,756 points and set a record with 846 points this season. Earlier this season, he set the single-game scoring record with 44 points.

In three games at the KCAA State Tournament, Robles scored 53 points and grabbed 33 rebounds in helping the Warriors to the KCAA state title.

Robles joins Peter Sheppard (2011) and John Fraley (2007) as Mr. Basketball winners from HCA.
