Trigg’s Reynolds to Pursue Fairways and Greens at USI (w/VIDEO)

After one of the most decorated senior seasons in the history of the Trigg County High School golf program, Hunter Reynolds will continue his quest to hit fairways and greens in college at the University of Southern Indiana.

Reynolds made it official Wednesday when he signed with the Evansville school at a ceremony.

He finished second at the Region One Tournament and fourth at the state first round. He finished 33rd at the state tournament at the Bowling Green Country Club.

During the regular season, Reynolds posted 11 top-three finishes at won tournaments at Daviess County, Henderson County, Hopkins County Central, and Union County. He also finished third at the Class 2A State Tournament.

Reynolds was named Second-Team All-State by the coaches association and earned a spot on the All-Region Team.

USI recently completed the move to NCAA Division I and competes in the Ohio Valley Conference.
