Rebels and Lady Rebels Take Top 10 Finishes at Region Archery

Archers from Todd County Central were among those competing at the Region One tournament over the weekend at Graves County High School. On the boys’ side, the Rebels finished in fifth place, while the Lady Rebels claimed 7th place.

The girls shot a team score of 1868. Graves County won the regional with a score of 1952. Calloway County was one point back in second place. Madisonville-North Hopkins tied with Calloway but lost out on a tie-breaker and finished third.

Kathryn Ballard and Abby Greenfield each shot a 277 for the Lady Rebels. Greenfield finished 22nd overall, while Ballard was 23rd. Darby Delph and Gracie Langley shot 268. Delph was 47th and Langley 48th.

In the boys’ competition, the Rebels finished the day with a score of 1929. Graves County won the regional with a 1969. Calloway County was second with a 1949 and Madisonville-North Hopkins took third place with a 1945.

Joe Anthony Tabor and Joseph Collins shot 282 for Todd County Central. Tabor finished 11th and Collins finished 12th.

Thomas Sapp was one point behind that with a 281, which put him in 15th place. Jacob Slaughter shot a 279, good enough for 22nd place.
