Despite the bitterly cold and windy conditions, Christian County’s Carter Sholar came up big when the Colonels needed him to Monday night in their season-opening win over Bowling Green. Sholar drove in the go-ahead run in the 4th inning and then added an insurance run in the bottom of the 6th.
