Carter Bounds’ top 5 finish was the best of the day for Lyon County Monday afternoon at the Laker Time Trials hosted by Calloway County High School.
Bounds finished 4th in the boys’ 1600 meter run with a time of 5:32.83. Austin Cavanaugh of Trigg County took 1st place in the race.
Jordan Jackson had a pair of top-20 finishes for Lyon County. Jackson took 16th place in the boys’ 200 meters and 20th in the boys’ 400 meters.
Other top 10 finishes for the Lyons were:
Kyle Jackson – 19th place – Boys 200 meters
Ethan Gossard – 12th place – Boys 800 meters
Sean Weatherspoon – 20th place – Boys 800 meters
