The Caldwell County Tiger tennis team took four of six matches to win in season-opening action Thursday at the CCHS tennis courts.
Caldwell won three of the four singles matches played.
Ryan Hammett (CC) defeated Weston Wint 6-0, 6-0;
Cade Howell (WC) def. Nick Adams 8-6;
Grayden Miller (CC) def. Ashton Brown 8-2;
Noah Bailey (CC) def. Trigo Torres 8-6.
In doubles, Caldwell’s Miller and Adams defeated Howell and Torres 6-1, 6-0. Webster’s Wint and Brown beat Cannon Littlejohn and Cason Littlejohn 8-6.
Caldwell is scheduled to go to University Heights Academy in Hopkinsville on Friday.
