
Todd County Central’s first appearance in an invitational this season resulted in a 10th-place finish Saturday at the Calloway County Track and Field Invitational.
The Rebels scored 19 points to finish eight points behind ninth-place Christian County.
RELAYS
The 800-meter relay team of B.J. Farlow, Sonny Borders, Trayvon Osborne, and Franklin Grullon came in sixth place in 1:41.79.
The 3200-meter relay team of Cole Gilbert, Ivan Lopez, Mohommed Sinawi, and David Gillespey ran a time of 11:17.41 to finish in 8th place.
The 1600-meter relay team of Mohammed Sinawi, Cole Gilbert, Ivan Lopez, and Jaran Miller finished in eighth place in 4:13.16.
SPRINTS
Franklin Grullon ran a personal-best time of 11.92 seconds in the 100-meter dash to take eighth place.
Fisher Borders finished fourth in the 400 meters in 55.37 seconds, was fourth in the 200 meters (23.64), and ninth in the 100 meters in 11.93 seconds.
B.J. Farlow came in 18th place in the 100-meter dash in 12.43 seconds.
Mohammed Sinawi was 20th in the 400 meters in 1:01.31 and Sonny Borders came in 22nd place in 1:01.52.
MIDDLE DISTANCE
Ivan Lopez came in 21st place in the 1600 meters in 5:49.69.
David Gillespey was 25th in the 1600 meters in 6:50.51.
KeAdrian Thirdgill was 29th in the 800 meters in 2:50.04.
FIELD EVENTS
Jayvonte McClarrm came in 24th place in the shot put at 22 feet, 3.75 inches, and was 24th in the discus throw at 67 feet, 8 inches.
Jarret Stamps was 26th in the shot put at 21 feet, 3.25 inches, and was 30th in the discus throw at 41 feet, 8 inches.
