Falcons Tie for Third Place at Coach Johnson Classic

The Fort Campbell Falcons tied for third place Saturday at its Coach Johnson Memorial Classic at Fryar Stadium. The Falcons scored 89 points, as did Kenwood. McCracken County won with 165.5 points with Rossview second with 121 points.

SPRINTS

Maurice Moore ran one of Fort Campbell’s best times in the 400 meters and the fastest by a Falcon in a decade. Moore ran a lap in a personal best of 50.03 seconds – the eighth fastest in school history. The school record of 48.57 was run by Jordan Gibbs-Francis in 2013.

Mateo Cerritos Gatto was right behind in third place at 50.90 – 18th fastest in school history.

Moore also ran a personal best of 23.40 in the 200 meters to finish in fourth place.

McKenzie Andrews was 15th in the 200-meter dash in 25.51 seconds and 24th in the 100-meter dash in 12.59 seconds.

Stephon Walker was 25th in the 100-meter dash with a personal best time of 12.73 seconds.

Keshawn Dixon was 27th in the 100-meter dash in 12.99 seconds.

Anthony Nunez was 30th in the 100-meter dash in 13.60 seconds, while Fredrick Galloway (14.65) was 31st and Elijah Harrell (15.42) was 32nd.

Samuel Atoubi was seventh in the 400-meter dash in a personal best time of 55 seconds.

Zachary Beimel was 18th in the 400 meters with a personal best of 58.72 seconds.

Andy Cintron was 26th in the 200 meters in 27.56 seconds, while Fredrick Galloway was 27th in 31.61.

FIELD EVENTS

Mateo Cerritos Gatto was second in the triple jump with a personal best distance of 39 feet, 1 inch.

Kaiden Verdone was third in the high jump at 5 feet, and 6 inches.

Stephon Walker tied for fifth in the high jump with a  personal best of 5 feet, 4 inches. He added another personal best in the long jump at 15 feet, 5 inches for a 15th-place finish.

Ja’Lyel Welch was third in the shot put with a toss of 39 feet and was fifth in the discus throw with a heave of 105 feet, 11 inches.

Tyrek Anthony was seventh in the high jump at 5 feet, 4 inches. He also placed 12th in the long jump at 16 feet, 8 inches.

Keshawn Dixon was ninth in the discus throw at 92 feet.

Jordan Herrera was 10th in the high jump with a personal best of 5 feet, 2 inches.

John Montalvo was seventh in the pole vault with a personal best of 9 feet, 6 inches.

William Hebert was eighth in the pole vault with a personal best of eight feet.

Adam Berry was 10th in the long jump at 16 feet, 10 inches.

Jaeden Carolina was 12th in the discus throw at 85 feet, 7 inches.

Jalen Jeter was 14th in the shot put at 30 feet, 11.25 inches, and was 19th in the discus throw at 73 feet, 6 inches.

Ricky Boykin was 23rd in the shot put at 25 feet, 3 inches.

Karl Kaleen was 24th in the shot out at 24 feet, 8.75 inches.

RELAYS

The 1600-meter relay team of Samuel Atoubi, Mateo Cerritos Gatto, Maurice Moore, and Robert Federovich was second in 3:34.16.

The 800-meter relay team of Maurice Moore, Mateo Cerritos Gatto, McKenzie Andrews, and Ja’Caryous Perryman came in fourth place with a time of 1:35.65.

The 3200-meter relay team of Alonso Alfaro, Jamile Wilson, Jayden Perry, and Cory Brown finished in sixth place in 9:19.04.

The 400-meter relay team of Keshawn Dixon, Robert Federovich, Ja’Caryous Perryman, and McKenzie Andrews finished in seventh place in 48.06 seconds.

HURDLES

Samuel Atoubi was fourth in the 110-meter hurdles in a personal best time of 18.82 seconds.

Amaury Andrews also had a fourth-place finish, running a personal best time of 46.14 seconds in the 300-meter hurdles.

Christopher Talbot was eighth in the 110-meter hurdles with a personal best of 19.48 seconds and ninth in the 300-meter hurdles with a personal best time of 48.46 seconds.

Robert Federovich was ninth in the 110-meter hurdles with a personal best of 20.47 seconds.

Sebastian Ramos was 17th in the 110-meter hurdles in 26.07 seconds, while Elijah Harrell was 18th in 26.72 seconds.

Eithan Cassell was 18th in the 300-meter hurdles in 57.36 seconds.

MIDDLE DISTANCE

Alfonso Alfaro was seventh in the 800-meter run in 2:18.09 (PR).

Jeffery Perry was eighth in the 3200-meter run with a personal best time of 11:58.74, while Jayden Perry was 10th in 12:31.53. Jeffery Perry was also 14th in the 1600 meters in 5:26.66.

Seth Puraty was eighth in the 1600-meter run with a personal best time of 5:17.80.

Gavin Anderson was ninth in the 800 meters in 2:18.82 (PR).

Darrion Hutson was 17th in the 1600-meter run in 5:45.42 (PR).

Alexander Creighton was 20th in the 1600 meters in 6:04.75.

Cory Brown was 23rd in the 800-meter run in 2:38.04.

Noah Flick was 14th in the 3200-meter run in 15:56.17 and 28th in the 800-meter run in 2:47.47 (PR).
