Lady Rebel Tracksters Mark Day With Personal Bests

The Todd County Central girls’ track and field team continues to improve ahead of next month’s Class 1A region meet. Several personal bests were attained at Saturday’s Coach Johnson Memorial Classic at Fort Campbell. The Lady Rebels finished in ninth place with 16 points.

FIELD EVENTS

Kai Gauge was eighth in the discus throw with a personal best of 57 feet, 8 inches, and was 21st in the shot put at 14 feet, 5.5 inches.

Alaina Nelson was 18th in the shot put at 16 feet, 11 inches, and was 19th in the discus throw with a personal best of 34 feet, 8 inches.

Erin Rooney was 15th in the shot put at 20 feet.

HURDLES

Ava Scott was fifth in the 100-meter hurdles with a personal best time of 19.08 seconds. She also scored a personal best in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 57.36 seconds and finished ninth.

Adrieana Noe was eighth in the 100-meter hurdles with a personal best of 21.15 seconds and was 15th in the 300-meter hurdles in 1:03.49.

Scarlett Lancaster was ninth in the 100-meter hurdles in 21.67 seconds.

Mary Beth Prather was seventh in the 300-meter hurdles ran a personal best of 56.23 and finished seventh in the 300-meter hurdles.

SPRINTS

Daymea Garrett was 14th in the 200-meter dash in a personal best time of 30.07 seconds and was 17th in the 100-meter dash in 14.87 seconds.

Jesslyn Ezell was 19th in the 200-meter dash in 32.52 seconds and 20th in the 100-meter dash in 15.18 seconds.

Aleycia Osborne was 23rd in the 200-meter dash with a personal best time of 36.42 seconds and was 27th in the 100-meter dash in 17.29 seconds.

Jalayah Williamson was 19th in the 400-meter dash in a personal best time of 1:15.77.

RELAYS

The 1600-meter relay team of Haylee Chamberlaine, Keilana Galima, Mary Beth Prather, and Jalayah Williamson came in fourth place with a time of 5:21.81.

The 800-meter relay team of Mary Beth Prather, Jalayah Williamson, Adrieana Noe, and Aleycia Osborne finished eighth in 2:16.69.

The 400-meter relay team of Scarlett Lancaster, Ava Scott, Jesslyn Ezell, and Daymea Garrett was eighth in 57.59 seconds.

MIDDLE DISTANCE

Keilana Galima was 10th in the 1600-meter run with a personal best of 7:48.90.

Madison McKinney was 12th in the 1600-meter run with a personal best of 8:36.39.
