Split Colonel Squad Finishes in 7th Place at Fort Campbell

With a squad split between meets in Hopkinsville and Fort Campbell, the Christian County boys’ track and field team finished in seventh place Saturday at the Coach Johnson Memorial Classic at Fryar Stadium on post.

RELAYS

The 3200-meter relay team of Wyatt Fleming, Hector Munoz, Alex Hale, and Michael Webb came in second place in 9:06.35.

The 800-meter relay team of Jayvion Hawkins, Trey Blanton, Jermaine Dove, and Dahzmeon Brown was second in 1:31.04.

SPRINTS

Jayvion Hawkins was fourth in the 100-meter dash in a personal best time of 11.88 seconds.

Zamien Matlock was sixth in the 100 meters in 12.05 seconds and was 12th in the 200 meters in 24.87 seconds.

Dahzmeon Brown was sixth in the 400 meters in 54.69 seconds.

Satona Bailey was ninth in the 100-meter dash in a personal best time of 12.10 seconds and added another PR in the 200 meters with a 14th-place finish in 25.08 seconds.

Wyatt Fleming was 13th in the 400-meter dash with a personal best of 57.16 seconds.

MIDDLE DISTANCE

Michael Webb was fifth in the 1600-meter run in a personal best time of 5:04.26.

Hector Munoz was 11th in the 800-meter run in 2:21.55.

Alex Hale finished in 14th place in the 800-meter run in 2:22.79 (PR).
