The Trigg County fishing team of Mitchell Green and Christian Jones finished tied for seventh place at the Dave Stewart Memorial Scholarship Tournament Saturday on Kentucky Lake.
The duo caught four bass weighing 10 pounds, 4 ounces with a big bass of 3.4 pounds.
Jack Thompson and Preston Futrell of Marshall County presented the winning bag, totaling 15 pounds. They won a $3,000 scholarship for their win.
Marshall County’s Hayden Gray and Maxon Mitchell caught the big bass at 4.2 pounds and earned a $1,000 scholarship.
Trigg County’s Gentry Hyde and Brayden Jones finished in 30th place with one bass weighing 2.8 pounds.
Christian County’s Cameron Acree and Colton Pyle caught a two-pound bass to finish in 39th place.
Bass fishing teams now turn their attention to Saturday’s KHSAA Region I Tournament at Kuttawa Harbor.
